(More customer reviews)Bought this vacuum on a whim.We've been through 2 vacuums with wind tunnel dust collection.Both came with lots of plastic attachments...most we do not need or use.Wind tunnels are fun to watch but other than that it was just a complicated conglomeration of parts that gave us problems.The Maid Lite on the other hand is very simple, very very light weight, and is very good at cleaning.It doesn't have bells and horns but gets the job done quite well.Sand in carpet is not a problem with the maid lite.That's our defining test for a vacuum.It has a floating head that automatically adjusts to the carpet height.It works quite well also.Bag changing is very easy.It's just an amazing vacuum.For our needs, simple is better.
