(More customer reviews)I ordered my filters and they were shipped from Promax.After doing more research in my area I found the filters about half the price at my local Target store.I posted a review on Amazon stating that I was upset that I had paid more from Amazon/Promax and that even tho I would continue to buy from Amazon, I would not order from Promax again.I received my order and posted my review.I then received 3 phone calls and two e-mails from Promax wanting to know what they could do to resolve my opinion -- David actually told me they "lived and died" by their reviews and asked me to please take down my negative review and they would do whatever they could to make me happy.I was out of town, however, I took my review down on 4/24 and called the company back today, 4/27, to tell them I had taken the review down. Promax rep David, on speaker phone, ask me what price I had bought the same item from from Target, would he be able to go online and verify the price, that he would not refund my shipping, he actually said I knew how much I was paying for the item when I hit "send" on my order, and there was no way they would refund my shipping--I should know that I had to pay shipping when I buy something.Needless to say, I am now extremely unhappy with this whole Promax experience.When they wanted me to take down my review they were absolutely wonderful; after I took down my review I was the idiot.I told them not to worry about any type of refund, to expect my negative review back online.

I would hope anyone out there would run as fast as they could from this company.In this day and age customer service is a must for any business.This company is AWFUL.As I stated before -- I will continue to buy from Amazon, but if what I need is only available from Promax--I will do without.

(More customer reviews)As a high-rise condo building manager, I need a good carpet sweeper to clean the carpet hallways in-between weekly vacuuming. Other carpet sweepers I've used took several strokes and still missed lots of bits and pieces, causing me to either go over it again and again like a crazy person or to bend over repeatedly to hand-pick up the small bits of trash. I even tried electric carpet sweepers but they still miss a lot and die after only a few floors.So frustrating!

The Rotaro is the best carpet sweeper I've ever used. It weighs a little more than the rest but it picks up everything the first time and makes my job a thousand times easier! I love it!

(More customer reviews)I hate vacuuming!It hurts my back and it's just an unfortunate necessary hassle.But with a house full of messy, fuzzy and feathered pets it's a very regular must! I was planning to get one of those roombas hoping to save me on the frequency of the chore but hearing reports that they break down didn't seem to make my problems any easier.My husband saw a swivel sweeper on TV but I feared it might be another "made in china" electronic susceptible to breakdowns.Remembering those little carpet sweepers from school days I thought this might be a good idea to keep up with the animals.It's a simple minute to assemble, and a few sweeps over floor or carpet and you can see the floor...no crumbs, no fluff, just carpeting.I was really surprised when I went to empty out the canister, another simple task, to find that there was more pet hair, feathers and other crumbs, kibbles and dust than I could see on the carpet!I can't even imagine how this could break which also gives a some piece of mind to know it's there when you need it.The bottom line: it's fast, effective, lightweight, easy to maintain and easy to store.No it won't replace your vacuum or get deep into the corners but it's a real help in keeping things neat, and a welcomed time saver. It has paid for itself in saving vacuum cleaner bags and electricity in no time, but I am especially glad for it having spared my back.A great gadget for households with pets and toddlers, and one I would highly recommend.

(More customer reviews)I'm not a great one for reviews but I've decided to write one after another fight with this little monster.

In all fairness it does a fairly good job of picking up lint, bits, etc., when you don't want to get the vacuum cleaner out and to just freshen up the rugs. BUT. . .

The long handle is a nightmare! Irregardless of what the instructions say about banging the handle hard (It comes in segments) it simply does not work. It always comes apart when you push harder or lift it. Okay. . .

Per the instructions, I banged it, I slammed it, I took a hammer to it. Not good enough, I turned it upside down and slammed it against the floor. Each time the handle came apart when I used it. Aaaaargh! Aaaaargh! Aaaaaargh!

My husband heard the screams of desperation! Muscles to the rescue.

He fixed it by drilling holes and placing a screw in each segment to hold it tight, when God forbid, you need to actually use it. Looks kinda ugly, but what the heck, the pain was too much too bear.

Now pray tell me, do the employees at the manufacturer's actually use their own carpet sweeper, or is their R&D so bad they can't be bothered to improve? And don't tell me they haven't had complaints about it, cos I'm not buying it guys.

Cut to the chase. This is an irritating, little monster who needs to be sent to the naughty boys carpet sweeper school. How the heck they came up with the name "Workhorse," is beyond me. They should rename it "Stupidhorse."

If you need a carpet sweeper, have a good think about this before you open your wallet.

Unless you have a husband with a brain go elsewhere!

(More customer reviews)I am a big fan of Swiffer products. I use the Wet Jet and Dusters almost daily. When I saw this item at the store, I was skeptical. It didn't really look like it would work that good. But it was on sale, so I bought it. I put it together (pushing the pole together was kind of hard) fairly easily. I inserted the cartridge. (My house mainly has laminate hard wood floors and just a little carpet. I bought the Flick for in between vacuumings.) I rolled it along the carpet and it really didn't pick up that much. I tried it on the laminate though and it picked up all the dust and crumbs that my toddler had made during his recent snack. (Note: the box says not to use on hard wood or laminate floors.) It worked really well on the laminate, similar to a broom. The bottom has two small 'brushes' that would stop it from scratching the floor, so I am not sure why the box advises against using it on that type of flooring. Overall, this is not that great of a product for carpet. I like it for my other flooring though. If you have a broom and a vacuum though, I wouldn't waste any more money just to have the Flick.

(More customer reviews)This is the third manual carpet sweeper in my life and the best I've had.It does an absolutely brilliant job of picking up pet hair from carpeting.Also, the handle comes in pieces and then screws together which makes it much easier to maneuver, my last one did not screw together and would come apart.In between regular vacuuming (with a high power machine) this is the perfect quiet sweeper.
